yeah, I got here on the 1st of Oct.   Since my arrival, it's been chill.  The weather is slowly starting to cool down.  


Other than that, all I do is sit around, read magazines, shoot hoops, throw horseshoes and toss the football.   LOL, not much work, at all.   Any who, let me know whats up wit the sickies, aight...

man, you  can forget me calling you, it's almost impossible to use or get a cell phone here on Balad  (Anacnoda).   They are jamming the **** out of signals, so the very few people that have them, rarely get signals.  Besides, it's only a few places you can use them, like in your living areas.   Outside of that area, you are running the risk of being appreahanded.

I go there all the time, when we are doing nothing at work, but I'm not too sure if the Contractors can use those phones to make calls.   I'll check into it, but I have never seen a contractor use those phones, we have our own phones here on the West side of the camp, in the KBR Village..  Either way, I'll check to see..
