EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- A military court heard graphic testimony during an official inquiry into whether an Air Force officer should be tried on four counts of forcible sodomy, three counts of kidnapping and two counts of attempted sodomy.
The hearing was the military's version of a grand jury inquiry. The purpose was to determine if there was enough evidence to try Captain Devery L. Taylor, punish him administratively or take no action.
A decision might take weeks.
Four men testified that they believed Taylor drugged and then raped them.
Throughout the day-long hearing, prosecutors pointed out similarities among the victims including their complaints about being given drugs to make then unconscious.
